Same Day Agra Tour By Car

Departure:

Starts where an unforgettable day trip to Agra will start early morning. You will be picked up by the car which will take you to the destination. It is to note that pick up from New Delhi Railway station to guest hotel is optional and will cost extra. The tourists are provided with only tickets and hence they are supposed to manage to reach the railway station, we also arrange for pickups which may cost extra. First Stop Taj Mahal:

Agra's main attraction is the Taj Mahal which was commissioned in the year 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan. The Ivory-white marble monument is the tomb of the emperor's wife whom he loved dearly. It is most celebrated monument which is a symbol of love. The visit to this place will bring to life the enormity and eternity of love. Taj Mahal is built on the banks of river Yamuna and is also a UNESCO world heritage site. It is suggested to make a note that monument fee is included. A guide will accompany you through the tour so that all your curiosity is solved. Arrival at Agra Fort:

The next destination we will head to will be the Agra fort. An enormous fort build by EmperorAkbar is also a UNESCO world heritage site. Agra fort provides a paranoiac view of the Taj Mahal from the top on a clear day. The fort is built in red sandstone and is 3 KM from the Yamuna Bank. The fort provides a close and detailed view of Mughal architecture and art. Agra fort is the most robustly build fort of the Mughal's which has seen many rulers in rein. The time to complete the tour will be close to 2-3 hours.

Arrival Tomb of I'timad-ud-Daulah':

The next stop will be the monument the Tomb of I'timad-ud-Daulah'. It is often referred to as the draft of the Taj Mahal. This tomb is also called the 'Jewel Box' as it was the storage place of the Mughals. This building has gardens which surrounds the main building. This is a building which will display the transition of the Mughal architecture. It shows the first phase of architecture which was built in red bricks and white stone to the next phase which beautiful white stone and Parchinkari (colored stones and designs). It was commissioned by NurJahan, wife of Jahangir Khan for her father who was given the title I'timad-ud-Daulah (Pillar of the state).

Leave for Delhi whichnow will commence our return journey.It will be a 4 hour journey, a short break for tea and snacks for 15-20 minutes will be provided before one reaches the destination. The drop point will be same as the pickup point. It will be a short ride back with memories to cherish for life. The tourist would have to pay extra charges for arrangement to pick up from guest hotel to New Delhi Railway station or any other place. The tourists should bear in mind that extra charges may apply for ones make last minute booking and advised for prior booking.
